Challenge
LGC owner Larry has been building and restoring decks, pergolas, and gazebos in Washington State for over 15 years — in Vancouver, Camas, Ridgefield, and Battle Ground. People planning a deck trust a craftsman, not a “company”: they need to see who will show up, what has already been built, and how long it will take. LGC needed a website that shows exactly that and leads to a call or an online booking.
Our solution
- An English-language website for the US market, styled like an architectural drawing: large grotesque sans-serif type, a blue accent, and thin golden-ratio lines. The hero section pairs the promise “Reliable craftsmanship for your home” with two actions — “Call Us” and “Schedule Online” — plus the license and insurance. Next come four advantages in full-width rows and an “About the Master” block with the owner’s photo and story.
- Eleven services — from decks and pergolas to barbecue areas — sit in a grid on a blue background with the same two buttons. Projects are shown as “Challenge → Solution → Result” mini case studies with photos, timelines, and numbers. After that come Google reviews, a blog, FAQ answers, and a two-field “Ready to discuss your project?” form.
Result
The website sells trust in a specific person: the craftsman in the photo, the license and insurance in the hero section, and projects with results and timelines. From anywhere on the page, there are two ways to reach out — a call or an online booking — and the form has just two fields: phone and email.
