Challenge
A Los Angeles brand of organic Ayurvedic teas and Japanese matcha was launching online sales in the US. Every other store labels its tea “organic,” so shoppers need to understand within seconds which tea will help them personally — and believe the ingredients really are clean. The brand needed a store that sells not boxes of tea but solutions: restful sleep, energy without coffee, and strong immunity.
Our solution
- We built the store around needs, not product names: six collections — immunity, detox & digestion, anti-stress, energy, sleep, and colds — each with its own color and face, so shoppers recognize themselves at first glance. The hero section shows tea boxes on grass at sunrise, the brand promise, and a single “Shop Now” button.
- Each collection’s teas appear in a scrolling row of cards with a rating, a price, and a “+” button that adds the item to the cart without opening its page. A dedicated block with USDA Organic, CCOF, and FDA trust marks removes doubts about the ingredients, a blog about Ayurveda and matcha brings in search traffic, and a promo banner features a new product: matcha with turmeric and ginger. The collection faces and product scenes were created with AI — no studio shoot.
Result
Shoppers don’t choose “tea with echinacea” — they choose “immunity”: they see their collection and the right teas with prices and add them to the cart without leaving the row. The certifications sit right next to the catalog, so distrust of the ingredients doesn’t get in the way of a purchase.
